Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
It's not about being hard these days, it about letting the other side know not to fuck with us...Burnley was the best example of this...we was getting up and carrying on with play after a heavy challenge, they were screaming like girls & rolling about, especially that Dutch fullback of theirs, Pieters?

Easy

Yarmolenko, nutty Ukraian that would eat Dawson for breakfast

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
Dawson is quite amusing with it, he is the master of the almost dirty challenge. Has properly nailed some players, particularly clearing out headers. Him winding up Zaha was great fun to watch.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
I don't know about hard, but I'm betting on Cresswell for our first sending-off of the season.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
I’d say Noble. Probably not the most intimidating but definitely most feisty over the years.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
Seen on a few occasions now Dawson dish it out which has been great to see.

Benrahma and Fornals aside, I feel like the first 11 can put it about.

Coful, looks a bit tasty, but no Fucking about Dawson is the man.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
Yep, the hard men of old have been killed off by the laws.
Sadly they have been replaced by sneaky purveyors of shithousery like Pepe and Diego Costa.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
Player just bounce off Antonio.

Coufal is fearless.

But Dawson wins it.

Spot on,

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
I don't think we have one.

But football has changed and many teams don't.

I think whats important is that in Dawson, Ogbonna, Balbuena, Rice, Soucek, Fornals, Antonio, Noble, Cresswell, Coufal, Diop we have a core of players that are physical and can mix it if its required.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
Agree with solidbond, 'hard men' are a thing of the past
All our players are fairly robust with the possible exception of Benrahma, who isn't as robust as he needs to be yet but is getting there
What's the point in having players giving away needless free kicks in dangerous positions, and penalties, just to show that they're hard?
The odd yellow isn't really a problem either but a player constantly seeing red isn't worth having if you're trying to achieve anything

You can forget it if you want, but I'll do what the fuck I like, cunt.

We didn't play badly, the team selection was a fucking crime. The world could see this. It's weird and a little suspicious. It has shaken my faith in Moyes because until that point I was loving his work. But that was a fucking crime.

RE : Brighton

Fuck me can we not drop that match now, we didnt even lose it and some fans cant help but bring it up. God help us if we actually play really badly at some point and lose, like ALL other teams do.

From the past, also Czech, Repka. Fuck getting into an argument with that guy.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
We have a sufficient number of robust players and no shrinking violets in our best eleven. We don’t need headbangers at all.

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
You can't look beyond Fornals or Cresswell, no-one attacks us anymore down our left flank they're like a tag team dishing out the slaps

Re: Who is the hard man in our team?
One from Coufal or Dawson. I would go for Coufal. A sharp razor in his hand would not look out of place.

Anyone know the Czech translation for "who wants some" ?

Must have been. It's as inexplicable as the Hugill transfer. Weird.

If only he'd gone after Brighton and Southampton - We'd be fighting for top spot!
